Hot Horseradish Sauce



Meerrettich Sosse Urloffen

50 g grated horseradish root
50 g butter
4 tablespoons flour
¾ l beef broth
1/8 l heavy cream 
salt and sugar to taste

melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour mix well to prepare a light roux
add cold water and stir until smooth
add beef broth and grated horse radish stir and let come to a boil
add cream and let come to a light boil
reduce heat to a simmer, season to taste.

The horseradish sauce is ready serve hot
Serve with horseradish sauce sauerkraut, potatoes and cooked bacon or Roast beef
