German Potato Salad


1 3/4 lbs potatoes
1/3 cup veg oil
1/3 cup vinegar
½ cup hot stock
3 Tbsp chopped onions
salt & pepper
pince of sugar
1 tsp dried mustard
1 Tbsp chives
1/4 cup of bacon
