Hi, I’m Sonja, most of you know me as the smiling Security Guard. I started working for the Gate Guards the beginning of 1987 and stayed with the Force until base closure December 1993.
My first assigned posts where the gates, which later included nightly foot patrols, than moved on being the "ticket bitch" to the access control clerk. In those six years I had the opportunity to work with a lot of interesting people that made working those long hours fun and sometimes challenging.
I hope through this Web site we all will once again be able to meet and remember the good , sometimes not so good times we had. To accomplish that I started a Security Guard address book, hoping to welcome all the guards back to the Main Gate soon.
