Does anyone remember radar technician Corporal Charles Albert Shrubsole? Originally from Brantford, Ontario, he was posted to 4 Wing from about 1963-67, roughly overlapping with most of my dad's time there. He died in Ottawa February 12 at age 86; here's the Ottawa Citizen obituary: http://www.legacy.com/obituari…/ottawacitizen/obituary.aspx… After his posting to Ottawa in 1967, he remained in the military until retiring in 1981. In retirement he owned a small apartment building, and became a student of urban transit around the world - an interest he carried forward from his time in Germany. He and I, and one other person who has also died, published a magazine on the subject from 1982-90. Any memories would be appreciated.
