Asking for assistance in trying to obtain photos of 421 Sqn exchanging with 41 Sqn RAF in May 83 in Sollingen and at Coltishall about a month later. I help to run a website www.41retro.co.uk. I am sure most people who were on the base then, remember the bus crash in the Black Forest when 6 of our Sqn died and numerous injuries to most people on the bus including many of 421 Sqn. This year was the 25th Anniversary and a ceremony and flypast were held in rememberance. The exchange is discussed at all of our gatherings and everybody is in complete agreement as to the fantastic treatment and kindness we received from everybody on the base. I was with 421 Sqn Ops when the accident happened.
As for pictures from the exchange you might want to contact the RCAF museum in Trenton Ontario. They have a large display of 421 memorabilia on display. They may have the Sqn photo albums as well

I am asking for help again, we have had an enquiry on our site from Budgie who was on the bus and is trying to locate the memorial. She would like to visit at the end of the year and is trying to find out exactly where it is. Any help greatly appreciated.
