 Paul Haswell
It is with sadness that I post the passing of Paul Haswell in Hamilton, March 31st 2008. Many will remember Paul as a hard working armourer as well as a DJ at CFNS. Paul was a happy go lucky guy that would do anything he could to help anyone and often did. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, a daughter and two grandchildren.

I too was sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I worked with his dad who was a music teacher in Hamilton, in the early sixties. Paul looked exactly like him, so much so that when I first saw Paul on the base, I asked him if he had a brother in Hamilton. "That would be my dad," he said. As soon as I got my foot out of my mouth we had a great old discussion of times past. I ran into him a couple of times in the city after we both repatted, but had lost touch with him. He truly was a great guy.

Thanks for your comments Graeme. I'll send a copy of any comments posted here to Paul's family.
