Post subject:  The Memory project looks for volunteers!

from our feedback:

My name is Helina and 'm writing from the Memory Project ' “ a major nationwide project that aims to record the stories of all Canadian veterans who've served in WWI, WWII, and the Korean War. We also organize talks in schools and community organizations throughout the year, sending a veteran or currently-serving soldier to speak with students and the public about their experiences.

We're always looking for new volunteers to reach out to students and others, and after an especially busy Remembrance Month, we're hoping to get more veterans on board!

I came across your website while doing research on WWII veterans in Ontario " would any of your members be interested in becoming volunteers for the Memory project? " We always work around your preferences “ age group, group size, schedules, etc. We also offer a small honorarium to help cover your costs.

If any members are interested, we would also love to do some interviews to record their stories and make them available to students and the general public.

I would love to talk to you some more about our organization and the projects we run is there a number where I could reach you? Alternatively, please feel free to give me a call anytime at 1-866-701-1867 ext. 249. In the meantime, please have a look at our website:

Thank you for your time,

Helina G.
