 Pferdsfeld location Reading the early base history, see mention made of the original planned location for the base. Does anyone know where Pferdsfeld is?

Came to Baden in 08/70, as a brat was part of the brown invasion from Hemer; dad was Sgt. R.S. Turner(deceased). High school Gr.XII to 6/71, worked at AMU to 8/72 with Andy Jack & Art Walsh. Loved our time there, email if you remember me our family.

Pferdsfeld According to my 1976 ESSO Europa-Atlas Pferdsfeld is approx15-20 ks west of Bad-Kreuznach which is approx 25 ks south-west of Mainz in what was then known as the American sector.

Thanks for the info, Google Earth shows an airfield with dispersals etc north of the old 3Wing field.
