I was a brat at 4 Wing during 64-65; married an airman; had 2 children; divorced the airman; now happily married and living in Winnipeg.

My parents Gordon and Beryl McLure were at 4 Wing. Dad was an Aero Engine Mechanic. Both Dad and Mom are gone now. and I still miss them.

Post Roll Call
In Baden 1953 To 1954 Original member of 444 Sabre Squadron and worked in Base Supply after arrival in Baden. I find the history part of Baden remembered a bit inaccurate especially the base supply part. For the record Squadron leader Tait was the first Supply Officer and was in charge of Supply when the squadrons arrived. I was part of the advance party of 444 Squadron and he had been there some time when we arrived. Long time retired living in Ottawa Bob clarke

Hi, I'm Theri Perreault. My husband, Marcel Perreault managed the computer department for 1AMS. We arrived with 2 young children; Ilene 2, and Eric 3 weeks; and have since grown by 2 more (twins). Both Marcel and I had volunteer announcer jobs at CFNS; I on the english side, he on the french. We are presently living just outside on Ottawa, in Quebec. Marcel continues to marvel his employers at Innovapost with his computer savvy, and I look after things at home.
WE ALL MISS BADEN.

Gary Turner base brat 1970-72. My late father was Sgt. Reg Turner, 2PPCLI, went over to Hemer in 1969, he 'rebadged' to 3 Mech Cdo in the born in a storm and down to Baden beginning of August 1970. Finished high school in June of '71 and went to work slinging reusables at AMU with Andy Jack and Art Walsh to Aug of '72. Learned a lot of bad behaviour at AMU and it was a completel blast! Desperately want to join what was then known as the 'air element' but those were strange days for the CAF and there were no openings available. Except infantry and or armour and followed the old man's advice not to get into that, maybe he was right, maybe not. Anyway, loved my time over there, especially Baden and plan to go over next Sept for the first time since 1972. Want to take my BMW bike over with me and tour around the continent and see the old stomping grounds of course. If you remember me, drop me a line! :D

Came to Baden in 08/70, as a brat was part of the brown invasion from Hemer; dad was Sgt. R.S. Turner(deceased). High school Gr.XII to 6/71, worked at AMU to 8/72 with Andy Jack & Art Walsh. Loved our time there, email if you remember me our family.

Woody and Diane Wood.

I was with 3 Mech Cdo from 1976-1977 and then 3RCR from 1977 to 1980. Had one boy (Dave) over there and a second one (Chris) after we returned home.

The best 4 year party we ever had! Lots of hockey, ball, soccer and great beer tents! Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

I remustered after leaving Germany to Traffic Tech and spent the next 28 years with another great trade.

Such wonderful friends and the greatest memories!!

Pro Patria!

Woody
