Kerry Allen AKA Froggie - 1973-77 (on and off as I came back here to Ottawa for college and spent my off time in Baden with my parents). I am in touch with fellow brats my sister Kim in Comox and her buddies Bonnie Krysko and Al Bradshaw, plus Brenda and Greg Greer and Rose Buckle here in the Ottawa area. Still trying to reconnect with Holly Scales!

I am sorry to report that my dad, CWO Ken Allen passed away in May. I am in the process of writing the eulogy for his memorial service here on August 10th and would love to hear stories about his time in aircraft repair. There was the one about the guys getting the aircraft stuck in the mud while towing it off of the runway that I vaguely recall and of course his howls of laughter when the plane fell off the pedestal at the gate.

Worked at Canex Audio Dept. and later at Post Office as a Civvy. Volunteered at CFNS a few years.
Did my D.J. services for many parties and Wed.nights at The R.I. (Room International) Got tired of those late nights so started selling oil paintings for Pierre and then took over for my own business. Married Andrea from licencing office and we are still together with a beautiful daughter Julia who is 15 years young. Living in Lichtenau and selling to Americans all over Europe. Still enjoying the odd Pils and Weizen Beers. :D The Gasthauses are good too! Swimming alot at Gruelsbaum quarry.
Tschuess!

Boy do we miss Germany. The beer fests, the people, the food, the life!!
Would live there in a minute. :!: Was back in February for a visit, and the germans in Weitenung sure miss the Canadians. It was a great visit.

Post I am still here!!
Hi Sonia,
Bruce McNair, Air Force Brat Baden 1957 thro 1961. Now retired. I enjoy the site altho still not happy with the new format (old dogs and new tricks etc..). Spending most of the time in France and Thailand. Would be happy to hear from old friends and my parents' acquaintances ( Buck and Barbara McNair).

Cheers,
Bruce

I was in 3 Mech Cdo in 1974 to 1975. Left the Armed Forces from Germany to go to BCIT (Civil Engineering Program) in Vancouver. After graduation and I was working for awhile, I also completed an Executive MBA at City University. I'm still working in traffic engineering and live in Surrey, a suburban municipality in the Metropolitan area of Vancouver.

Regards,

Tim Murphy
