Cool idea! I was in Baden from 75 - 78. Grade 12 at Baden Senior High then worked on base in one of the squadrons (can't remember if it was 439 or 421) and left at the end of 78. Now living in Calgary and have been ever since.
Cheers to all!

Re: Roll-call!! Lets see who is still out there
Rick Ruggles,
Posted to the Safety Systems Shop May 1983. Later moved to 441 Sqn. Then to Maintenance and Snags all CF-104. In 1985 was qualified CF-18. Was with 421 Sqn. until I left Germany for Cold Lake in Aug. 87. Baden-Soellingen was definitely a memorable posting and possibly my best posting. Returned to Geilenkirchen, Germany in June 1992 and still living here. They wanted to post me to Moosejaw in 1996. (NOT). Love it here to much for one thing. Rick Ruggles P.S. I know there is an Emoticon with a Beer Stein. I've seen it, but not here.

Graeme Newbigging. Taught at Senior School 73-78. Wife is Barb. Our kids, Bill, Ted, John and Sarah all were with us in Baden. I've been retired 12 years. All the boys have been back to the base, Barb and I as well. We have ten grandkids. Life is wonderful, and Baden was a big factor in making it so. Hi to all you fabulous folks who were part of it.

 Doug *Colonel* Saunders
I was in 1 CAG Snags 81-82 until Col Johnson said I would not miss another broadcast of his hockey games...hahah so he gave me a day job in Tire and Tank. I was the hockey play by play announcer, also the morning guy on CFNS. DId group interviews for European Showcase. wow..interviewed some great groups... like Meatloaf, Twisted Sister, and The Rolling Stones. Master of Ceremonies for Winter Carnival..along with Kim Wooder. Finally left in 1986. The most amazing posting and times and people I had met. So many memories, good ones and forgotten ones. Now in the Middle East with a Military and Police force doing work in some terrible countries. Get back to Dartmouth NS every now and then.

Randy Ward,
I check in every once in a while just to bring back the memories. Was in Baden as an AF Tech 1972 to 75. Remustered to Flight Engineer after that. Labrador's Herc's, civil world Nationair and ACS on DC8's. Worked with Red Wishardt in DND, retired to school buses last year. One of the most challenging jobs I've ever had. Live in Eastons Corners, near Jasper, near Smiths Falls Ont. Rosemary and I have a non-productive 50 acres which we totally enjoy. Always will enjoy Baden Remembered.

 Loved Baden
Hey Y'All,
Worked in the Canex Audio Dept. from '76 till '81, was then the Sony rep for Canex till '86 and then worked for Amextra (Apple, Luxman, KEF, Boston Acoustics, Cerwin-Vega, Aiwa, Tissot, Omega, Swatch, etc.. as their sales manager for all Nato forces in Europe, then when the wall came down, Germany changed and we did not enjoy it anymore and moved to Brazil in '97 and have been here ever since. I have an import/export company dealing in professional audio equipment.
The almost 20 years I spent in Europe involved with CFB Baden and Lahr were the best time of my life and where I met my closest friends - who still are.
Am married to Viky and have two childred, Tiago Peter (16) and Tess Alanna (14).
Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me, possibly as Dr. Gonzo.
Tchuss und Prost!
Gord
