Re: Passing of Syd Phillips
I was a snot-nosed 16 year-old base brat in '86, and Syd was the first examiner I ever took my driving test with...."you need to be going at LEAST 140 on the Autobahn son if you're going to pass this test!" I can't say I knew him well, but I liked him and am sorry to hear of his passing. I played a lot of badminton with his son Chris, and remember them both very well.... please pass on my condolences as well.
